There is a task which all wounded souls must assume. It is the task of moving beyond the tragedies of life into the potentials of our future.
This is a simple question but has deeper meaning. There are many people both rich and poor who are “sitting down there” crying. Some have put so much into life, business, academics, career hoping to reap a bumper harvest but the reverse is the case. Others have so much rely on family friends, spouse, colleagues or associates who have stabbed them with cruel dagger of betrayal or deceit. Yet those born with natural disabilities or accidental calamities blamed the nature for being so cruel to them.
Oh what about these righteous man or woman of GOD who devoted his/her life to the service of His Maker yet harbouring one infirmity or the other. Hear him/her asking where art thou God? Why me Lord? With tears stained eyes.

REMEDY FOR YOUR TEARS. “Come, let us……….”This was the statement of the four lepers at the gate of Samaria. Beloved, no matter your condition, rise up and change your address, your story will change (2Kgs 7:3-8). There is ability in defiled the natural disability by climbing the sycamore tree thus got all round salvation. Move from curse to blessing, today. Jabesh turned his parental curse to blessing by turning to the Lord his maker. If you have Jesus, you have all. The lame man at Bethsaida met Jesus and recovered all. Enter into His presence and pour out your heart. Borrow a leaf from Hannah. Wait for the appointed time of God. The storm passes, the rain stops, the clouds recede, and the day breaks.

The storm passes, the rain stops the clouds recede, and the daybreaks. What a blessing it is when the night has been long to know at last it is morning. Do not sit down there crying. None can shield or hide us from pains. These are realities that comes to the richest homes or impoverished. Simply put, this is life. Yet in the midst of the madness, when we are facing situations that seem to have no rhyme or reason, it helps to know that somewhere beyond the passions and pains there is God (2 Cor 1:3-4).
How can we celebrate triumph if we have not faced defeat? As the Word of God says, there is a time for everything. ‘’A time to weep, a time to laugh… (Eccl 3:4). Do not sit down there weeping. It is just a passage for joy cometh in the morning (Ps 30:15). Take courage; for David encouraged himself in the Lord. No matter how dark the night, you’ve always lived to see the light. Times changed, seasons change but not God. God who brought you through your past has promised yolu a brighter future (Jer 29:11).

No matter what sorrow life has brought before you, don not sit down there crying. It is at the end of setbacks, failures, betrayals, delays and denials that morning does come. I challenge you my brothers, sisters, friends, husbands, wives pastors, hold out fo the morning because it does come. Do not allow the tragedies of life to so depress you that you lose your expectation of the morning. Wake up singing hallelujah in the morning. Breath in a fresh air, expels the stale air of your past, and says to yourself, ‘I can feel the breaking of day’. And it will come through.

Do not sit down there crying. Overcome obstacles with confidence. Survive traumas with triumph. See the comforter in the midst of crises. Midnight is the turning point of night. It is that time when the sun begins its ascension and the darkness of night progressively begins to fade into the brightness of expectation. Be prepared to enter into your expected end.
